Spaces are sold out for the Main Street Gala & Better Downtown Awards at Wampum Landmark Tavern. We are excited to see such enthusiasm for the event. If you would still like to come check out Wampum's, the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 13th. In a break from its traditional black-tie optional annual celebration, the Downtown Development Association of Lincolnton, Inc. is transforming the former Lincoln Drug building, 132 East Main Street, into a sports bar for the 2009 Main Street Gala & Better Downtown Awards. This one-night-only event will be held on Friday, March 13th to coincide with the ACC Basketball Tournament.

Wampum Landmark Tavern will boast 6 large screen TVs (all broadcasting the ACC tournament), local and collegiate sports memorabilia, food, and beer and wine. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and everyone is invited to attend; however, RSVPs are required. The event's $25 cover charge includes dinner and drinks.
